Imagine all the people around the world who wear a mobile phone may let you legally use their mobile camera to make a remote view.
The functionality is inverse
to Google StreetView, YouTube, Instagram, Periscope and others in the sense that instead of browsing among the given existing photos or videos (mostly of past moments) you order particular photo or video to be made just for you at place, time and conditions which you define !
Example use cases are when you may want to SEE REMOTELY:
-- how a hotel/area really looks NOW when considering possible travel destinations;
-- various real estate properties over a LARGE area without visiting all of them
-- your/parents/friends house/street/car while being on a long leave
-- places/events which is difficult to visit (INSIDE BUILDINGS, underground, mountains, etc)
-- special events which are hard to attend (festivals, sport finals, EMERGENCIES, etc.)
This App pretends to make it possible using the crowd-sourcing technologies and a little of motivation.
The following process flow is implemented:
-- You create a request (a 'Task') to capture a desired photo or a video at desired place at desired time and conditions, so you are 'Requester' and the 'Task owner';
-- To motivate others to serve your request, you offer some form of a reward for the Task
(either 'virtual tokens' which you have been awarded when registered at this App, or a REAL MONEY via PayPal or via Bitcoin/Litecoin/Ethereum);
-- Another user which gets motivated enough, commits to capture such a media for you, so he/she plays a role of a 'Worker' on that Task;
-- a Worker arrives to the defined location at the desired moment of time and locks the Task for him/her to do; he/she will have a short period of time (~15 min) to capture and upload the requested media to the server;
-- Once a media is uploaded, the Task owner should review it and either ACCEPT it (if it satisfies his/her expectations) or REJECT it;
-- If accepted, the offered reward should be transferred to the Worker;
-- If rejected, the Task becomes pending again and any user (the same or another) may serve it again.
Very few people may lend you their mobile camera without getting any benefits, that's why this App can not be an absolute freeware. You need to somehow motivate remote people to serve your requests . To be served, one either has to simply pay for it or has to serve others and thus, earn 'virtual credits' from them to pay later for their own requests. The higher importance of a media for a requester, the higher remuneration may be offered for it to attract a Worker, the quicker it will be served.
The more people join this App 'crowd-sourcing network', the higher chances are that at a desired place / time there will be another user of this App serving you. Thus, the more actively you share about this App in any social networks, the better for all users.
To build up the crowd-sourcing network, the following initial promotion is offered:
-- first 100 registered users will receive 5000 virtual Tokens free;
-- first 1000 users will get 2500 virtual Tokens free;
-- first 5000 users will get 1000 virtual Tokens free;
-- first 100 Tasks will have extra bonus of 5000 virtual Tokens per Task;
-- first 1000 Tasks will have extra bonus of 2500 virtual Tokens;
-- first 5000 Tasks will have extra bonus of 1000 virtual Tokens.
