Description of Brain in Hand

Brain in Hand requires a licence subscription and is not free to use. This mobile application is one component of a professional system and is used in combination with Brain in Hand web software and human support. To find out more, please visit www.braininhand.co.uk or contact info@braininhand.co.uk.
Brain in Hand can help you to manage difficult situations, remember things, and cope with anxiety, all of which are stepping-stones to increasing independence and achieving goals.
Our digital support system is made up of three main elements: personal specialist setup, accessible self-management tools, and linked human support. Through the Brain in Hand application, you can easily access coping strategies and reminders, monitor your wellbeing, and request extra help when it’s needed.
Professional support services can use Brain in Hand to enhance their work with service users, improving outcomes and making resources go further.
To see part of the system in action, download the mobile app and explore a pre-populated demonstration account.

Barely functional. Notifications don't work, the calendar feature is a hassle to navigate through, and the fact that I can't put events from my phone just makes BiH more of a chore than a support. Generally wouldn't recommend.

Exorbitant monthly fees... cash grab on the vulnerable.

An app designed to support people who may be in mental health crisis should not be this expensive. The information about the cost should be made clear to avoid the disappointment of downloading it, only to realise you can't access the features without paying.

An exercise in ripping off carers and people with special needs for every penny they've got, and then some. Shameful.

Great app to keep organised and manage my anxiety. Traffic light system enables me to talk to somebody when I'm distressed. Would be awesome if it could sync with Google calendar.

No clarity about cost in info about app - this app works only with a software licence: cost to a self funding individual £336 for licence; £87.50 per month for on going support. it might be worth it but...
