  This has got to be the most perfect compromise with the new design standards that I think I've seen. Users can pick their colors or their design conforming gray icons, and both groups get awesome looking, functional, and understandable at a glance icons instead of one group getting a short stick like has happened with most icon changes. And since they are a separate free download, they won't bog down older phones. The best compromise between the old color icons and the new design standards.
