The APSRTC runs about 400 city buses in about 150 routes to cater the needs of the 3 cities, Vijayawada, Mangalagiri - Tadepalli, Guntur and 10 towns that constitute the Amaravati Metropolitan Region of Andhra Pradesh. With the new Capital Area, Amaravati, growing between the twin cities of Vijayawada and Guntur, the city buses are the life line of the major urban agglomeration of the state.
The app contains the details of the APSRTC-run city buses in the metropolis of Amaravati. The app contains the following basic features.
1. Search City Bus Routes:
Search the course of a city bus route. Just enter the Route Number, Service (optional) and click Search.
2. Search City Bus Routes through a Stop:
Search the City Bus Routes through a Bus Stop. Just enter the Stop, Service (optional) and click Search.
3. Search City Bus Routes between two stops:
a. To get direct buses, enter the Source and Destination and click Direct Routes.
b. To get buses through an Interchange Point (where you get down a bus and board another!), enter the Source, Destination and Interchange Point and click Interchange Routes to get bus routes through the upto the Interchange Point.
The app has many other features like fare calculator, details of depots and services, etc.
