Safety Score measures your driving behaviors and offers helpful tips for safer driving. For unexpected incidents on the road, know that you can get 24/7 Pinpoint Roadside Assistance, even if you’re unsure of where you are. With Crash Response, if Hum detects a crash it can notify emergency services and send help right away. In the unfortunate event of an auto theft, Stolen Vehicle Assistance helps provide near real-time location of the Hum equipped vehicle.
Smarter
Access to Vehicle Diagnostics provides easy to understand alerts for hundreds of vehicle issues. For expert advice, connect with independent ASE Certified mechanics via the Mechanics Hotline. Set Maintenance Reminders and receive alerts when it’s time to take your car to a certified repair shop (powered by RepairPal).
More Connected
See where your car is and which direction it’s heading using the Vehicle Location feature. You can turn your car into a Wi-Fi Hotspot and connect up to 10 devices using Verizon’s 4G LTE network. Driving History gives you vehicle stats like MPG and distance traveled for one trip, the day, month or even the entire year. With Speed and Boundary alerts get notified if your car exceeds your set speed limit or crosses your custom boundaries. NumberShare gives you the freedom to call your three favorite contacts, even without your phone being present.

The Hum app asks for the Location permission for the following:
Humx/Hum
Access to location services while using the app to provide boundary alerts to tell you when your vehicle has entered or exited a GPS radius.
Access to location services only while using the app to find the nearest or best priced gas.
Access to location services only while using the app for turn-by-turn navigation.
Access to location services only while using the app to request roadside assistance.
Hum Essentials
Access to location services to provide crash detection and Safety Score even when the app is not in use or is closed. Note: Hum Essentials is no longer available to new subscribers.
