eyeWitness to Atrocities

The eyeWitness to Atrocities App is aimed at human rights organisations, investigators and journalists documenting atrocities in conflict zones or other troubled regions around the world. The App provides a simple and effective way to capture photos/videos that are more easily verifiable and can be used to investigate and prosecute individuals who commit atrocity crimes. The purpose of the App is to ensure that photos and videos can be used to seek justice.
* Record verified video, images or audio evidence, even in areas with low connectivity
* Add notes about the event recorded
* Encrypt and anonymously report
The App is designed for Android version 6.0 and above.
PLEASE NOTE: We advise that you contact the eyeWitness team (https://www.eyewitness.global/connect) before using the App on a documentation mission. eyeWitness works in close partnerships with organisations and individuals to ensure that mobile footage can be used to seek justice. As such, as well as the App, eyeWitness provides documentation training, links to relevant investigative bodies, legal expertise and technical support.
