The 2023 Men's Cricket World Cup will be the 13th edition of the Cricket World Cup, a quadrennial One Day International cricket tournament contested by 10 teams and organized by the International Cricket Council. It is scheduled to be hosted by India with the tournament starting from 5 October to 19 November 2023, though the ICC previously announced the final would be on 26 November. It will be the first time the competition is held entirely in India; three previous editions were partially hosted there – 1987, 1996, and 2011.
England are the defending champions, having won the previous edition in 2019, defeating New Zealand in the final.
This will be the last time the 10 teams will feature in the World Cup after the expansion of teams from 10 to 14 from the next edition.
The 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier is the 12th edition of the Cricket World Cup Qualifier and is scheduled to take place in June and July 2023 in Zimbabwe. It is the culmination of the 2023 Cricket World Cup qualification process and will decide the final two participants for the 2023 World Cup.
