Daily Spiritual Practice helps train your mind to apply practical spiritual exercises as you go about your normal daily tasks.
Each day you are prompted with a specific practice to focus on, to help bring mindfulness, awareness and joy into your life.
Throughout the day discrete chimes help you think about the day’s practice and take a few moments to bring awareness to it, eventually making each practice a way of life.
This application was inspired while trying to apply lessons that are common across various spiritual teachings and finding it difficult to remember all of them, even more difficult to apply them as you get wrapped up in daily activities and tasks.
It is intended to be a tool to help put practical teachings into action as you follow your own path into mindfulness and spirituality.
After setting your preferences, once a day the application suggests a specific practice for the day.
If you want to choose a different one you can swipe the screen to browse the available practices and select the one you want to apply that day.
Using the Android menu button to open the Settings page you can customise start and end times for reminders, the volume and how frequently the chime sounds and other preferences to tailor the application to your needs.
You can also enter your own practices to help you apply lessons you learn on your own personal spiritual journey. From the Android menu select 'My Practices' and add your own personal reminders. Swipe the screen to see all your reminders and delete ones you no longer need.
The application also provides a meditation timer that has custom and built-in chime intervals.
You can use the programmable chimes to guide you through 12 minute or 31 minute Kirtan Kriya meditation, or set your own chime interval to meet your personal needs.
