Viaggio Ergo Sum

Mi chiamo Fabio Liggeri, sono nato in Sicilia, nei dintorni di Catania. All’età di 28 anni ho intrapreso il mio sogno più grande, sono andato in Australia. Dopo un mese trascorso nella terra dei canguri ho capito che non mi sarei più fermato.
Facevo il webmaster e avevo deciso di portare costantemente il mio lavoro in viaggio: mi bastava un laptop ed il segnale Wi-Fi di ostelli e bar in giro per il mondo. Da turista curioso stavo cercando di trasformarmi in timido viaggiatore, affinando man mano la mia abilità nel risparmiare il più possibile. Car sharing, couchsurfing o il lungo viaggio via terra, piuttosto che quello noioso e costoso su un aereo, diventarono presto il mio pane quotidiano. Dopo il primo viaggio in Australia si sono susseguite una serie di avventure sempre più entusiasmanti: da Catania a Capo Nord in auto, un viaggio invernale lungo la ferrovia Transiberiana, gli Stati Uniti coast to coast senza usare arei, la discesa di tutto il Rio delle Amazzoni in battello, ecc.
Alla fine del 2016 avevo finalmente toccato tutti i continenti. Ma facciamo un piccolo salto indietro: nel 2014, pochi mesi dopo il mio primo viaggio solitario in Australia, ho creato un blog (proprio quello che stai leggendo in questo momento) in cui ho iniziato a raccontare i miei spostamenti ed in cui condividevo e continuo a condividere le meraviglie che mi si presentano davanti agli occhi. Oggi ho messo a disposizione tutta la mia esperienza degli anni trascorsi in viaggio da solo per il mondo, guidando gruppi alla scoperta dei posti più autentici e meno turistici di questo meraviglioso pianeta.
My name is Fabio Liggeri, I was born in Sicily, near Catania. At the age of 28 I embarked on my biggest dream, I went to Australia. After a month in the land of kangaroos, I realized that I would not stop.
I was a webmaster and I decided to constantly bring my work on the road: I just needed a laptop and the Wi-Fi signal of hostels and bars around the world. As a curious tourist I was trying to become a shy traveler, gradually refining my ability to save as much as possible. Car sharing, couchsurfing or the long journey by land, rather than the boring and expensive one on a plane, soon became my daily bread. After the first trip to Australia there were a series of increasingly exciting adventures: from Catania to the North Cape by car, a winter trip along the Trans-Siberian railway, the United States coast to coast without using airplanes, the descent of the whole Amazons by boat, etc.
At the end of 2016 I finally touched all the continents. But let's take a small step back: in 2014, a few months after my first solitary trip to Australia, I created a blog (just what you're reading right now) in which I started telling my movements and in which I shared and continued to share the wonders that come before my eyes. Today I have made available all my experience of the years spent traveling alone to the world, leading groups to discover the most authentic and less touristy places on this wonderful planet.
