very useful supplement to Chinese language lessons, but there are occasional errors in translation from Chinese to English and vice versa. It seems the original method was from German? to/from Chinese. (For instance this word for orange is given as 'apelsin'...) This is not a great obstacle inasmuch as the mistakes are also interesting. ('Calf of the lower leg is given, in pinyin, as 'xiao niu', little cow!) Rather amusing, all told.
