Personal Dungtsho is the your personal health companion for Bhutanese people providing you details on various diseases, free epidemic outbreak SMS alerts, Emergency First Aid and Medical Shop Contact numbers.
The app is developed under Health & Education category of Mobile App Competition in 2015 organized by G2C Office, Prime Ministers Office, RGoB for public service delivery initiative.
Following are the features:
1) SEASONAL & COMMON DISEASES
- Find out about diseases in different seasons and diseases that are common in our Bhutanese society. Find out what diseases might have affected you by searching with symptoms. Check on what type of tests and treatments you will receive in the hospital. Be aware of what you need to do at home to prevent or cure.
2) FIRST AID
- You have dialled 112 and ambulance is on its way. What can you do to help the patient during emergency? Every minute is important to save someone's life. Get prepared with emergency tips. You have options to call emergency help line numbers.
3) MEDICAL SHOPS
- Find out what medicines are available in the respective medical shops/pharmacies.
4) SMS
- Subscribe to FREE SMS Alerts on epidemic outbreaks and be safe while travelling in those regions.
