Description
The purpose of the "Hearing Education and Readiness" course is to provide an overview on the importance of hearing loss prevention and protection requirements and information regarding hazardous noise exposure, diseases of the ear, and measures to take for preventing or mitigating hearing loss for DoD Civilians and Service Members enrolled in a Hearing Conservation Program (HCP) IAW
DoDI 6055.12 and Service specific instructions.
This course is provided by the DoD Hearing Center of Excellence.
