CARNIVAL OF SOUTHWEST is a social inclusion strategy from the cultural dimension that emerged in 1995 to ensure greater coverage in terms of access to the events of the annual festivities CARNIVAL BARRANQUILLA and active participation in their preparation, since opportunities participation are limitless and without restriction, allowing achieve a great impact on the communities of the City Suroccidente Special, Industrial and Harbor District of Barranquilla.
The strategy benefits children, youth, seniors and persons with disabilities located in 56 districts of the City Suroccidente.
