Gianluigi "Gigi" Buffon (born in Carrara, January 28, 1978) is a professional soccer player from Italy. Currently, he rejoined the Juventus club after being bought by French club Paris Saint-Germain in 2018. Buffon is also the main goalkeeper on the Italian national football team. Juventus bought it from Parma in 2001. His best achievement was when he led Italy to win the 2006 World Cup. Until now, Buffon is often referred to as one of the best goalkeepers in the world. One of the awards he got was the title of Serie A Best Goalkeeper who won eight times.
