DigiLocker is an Indian National Digital Locker System that has been recently launched by the Indian Government. This Digital Locker is part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India Scheme.
You need to link your Aadhaar number (issued by UIDAI-Unique Identification Authority of India) to DigiLocker to use this facility. Digital Locker System or DigiLocker is an Aadhaar-based facility.
DigiLocker App Features:
Anytime and anywhere access to the documents.
Dedicated personal storage space (10MB).
Document upload support from only desktop due to security
Download e-Aadhaar from the DigiLocker portal/website.
Enable e-Signing of documents
Ensure Authenticity of the e-documents
Share Documents Online
DigiLocker is your Dedicated personal storage space, linked to your resident’s Aadhaar number.
