The Town of Gananoque has been working on executing a storefront vacancy project utilizing augmented reality (AR). Our goal is to showcase our vacant storefronts in a way that has never been done before. By simply standing in front of one of our Gananoque storefronts, users can envision their dream business by selecting one of the 3D rendered floorplans. We hope to ignite an entrepreneurial mindset for all, associate vacant storefronts with new business ideas, bring traffic to vacant storefronts, and to leave a lasting impression whether users are looking to buy or rent, now or in the future.
