Why does the app require all these permissions?
Some app users are concerned about the number of permissions the app requires, which is especially obvious in Android 6 (Marshmallow). In general, the app only uses additional permissions when the user initiates specific activities where these are required. Here are the specific examples of how it uses the permissions:
Contacts - When you add emergency contacts, you can select them from your existing contacts.
Location - When you activate the panic button or the “Follow Me” button, the app can tell your contacts and security company (if they partner with us) where you are. It is also used when you want to add home location or location of crime alerts.
SMS - When you press the panic button it will send an SMS to your emergency contacts showing your location. It will also send SMSes to contacts when you cancel the alert.
Phone - To make phone call to your emergency contact when you press the panic button.
Photos/Media/Files - So you can add a photo of yourself (at registration) or a crime (when adding an alert). The app never does this in the background - you must initiate this.
Microphone - To record audio when you press the “Record Audio” button only.
Data - The main way the app uses data is when you press the panic button or follow me button (to send a small data alert to the backend database), at registration and adding crime alerts (to save details to the database), to use the map (e.g. to find your home location or crime locations) or to use the online shop.
Identity - So Google Play knows who has downloaded it and so users can access across devices.
Device ID and call information - Device ID so we can synchronise your app details if, for example, you delete the app and re-install it.

ProtechDNA offers a FREE mobile app to help our users inventory their valuables and store them securely into their account. At the time of registration each user will be assigned a unique PIN (Personal Identification Number) that is recognized by law enforcement around the country. User can apply that PIN to the property with either our DNA adhesive, which is provided FREE at the time of registration ($5.99 shipping and set up fee required) or a Forensic Property Pen available online for $4.00. Both methods are forensic applications and invisible to the naked eye. All law enforcement has special detection equipment to determine if property has been marked and ability to view the invisible PIN applied to property.
Users accounts will include contact details that are linked to the PIN issued at the time of registration. The PIN applied to your valuables gives law enforcement the ability to identify ownership and contact information to successfully return recovered property to its rightful owner.
User account also provides you the option to manage property, including a full description of the property, including make, model, serial number, approx value, property descriptions, and upload a picture. The property descriptions entered into your account are also matched with pawn shop transactions, and if matched can notify property owner and law enforcement the property has been sold at pawn shop.

ATT NFC
Un’app di Ascon Tecnologic studiata per rendere agevole, anche in campo, la programmazione dei nuovi trasmettitori di segnale della famiglia ATT1.
Grazie a questa APP ed alla tecnologia NFC, è possibile leggere la configurazione di un trasmettitore, salvarla, modificarla ed inviarla ad uno o piu trasmettitori senza fare uso di spine, connettori, cavi o altro.
La APP riconosce automaticamente il dispositivo ed in pochi secondi ne legge la configurazione.
A questo punto è possibile modificare, salvare nello smartphone,
inviare via mail o copiare su un altro ATT1 la configurazione attualmente memorizzata.
Tra le funzioni particolari troviamo la possibilità di dare un nome (TAG NAME) all’unità per poterlo identificare all’interno dell’impianto,
impostare il valore di uscita che segnala il burn-out, definire se le indicazioni verranno fornite in °C oppure °F, definire il campo ritrasmesso e compensare errori dovuti alla posizione della sonda tramite calibrazione utente oppure offset e guadagno.
