GANA is the Nariño Open Government and one of the three pillars of the government program of Camilo Romero, governor this department, along with social innovation and collaborative economy.
An open government is one that maintains a continuous horizontal conversation with the public, which makes decisions based on the needs and preferences raised by this, reporting everything that decides and makes and facilitates the cooperation of citizens and workers in the development of the services provided.
In the department of Nariño it becomes a philosophy of governance, in which premium collaboration and citizenship, naturalness, clarity and ease of communication between the community and the government. Public project tasks in a transparent and collaborative way, based on complete, accurate and sufficient information so that citizens can be part of government decisions competently, efficiently and effectively.
Open Government of Nariño is based on participation, transparency and collaboration, which are three key instruments for collective peace-building. The end of the conflict is a historic opportunity to focus efforts and resources towards finding political solutions that solve strategic problems generating violence and social exclusion, and one of those policies is the Open de Nariño, GANA government.
