Deskripsi Wiring Diagram Relay

Relay is an electrically operated switch (Switch) and is an Electromechanical (Electromechanical) component which consists of 2 main parts namely Electromagnet (Coil) and Mechanical (a set of Contact Switches / Switches). The relay uses Electromagnetic Principles to drive the Switch Contact so that a small electric current (low power) can conduct electricity with a higher voltage. For example, with Relays using 5V Electromagnets and 50 mA capable of moving the Armature Relay (which functions as a switch) to deliver electricity 220V 2A.
Relay Functions and Applications
Some Relay functions that have been commonly applied into Electronic equipment include:
Relay is used to run Logic Function
Relay is used to provide a Time Delay Function
Relays are used to control high voltage circuits with the help of low voltage signals.
There is also a relay that serves to protect the motor or other components from excess voltage or short circuit (short).
Relay adalah saklar yang dioperasikan secara elektrik (Switch) dan merupakan komponen Electromechanical (Elektromekanik) yang terdiri dari 2 bagian utama yaitu Electromagnet (Coil) dan Mechanical (satu set Switch Kontak / Switch). Relai menggunakan Prinsip Elektromagnetik untuk menggerakkan Kontak Saklar sehingga arus listrik kecil (daya rendah) dapat menghantarkan listrik dengan tegangan yang lebih tinggi. Misalnya, dengan Relai menggunakan 5V Elektromagnet dan 50 mA yang mampu menggerakkan Rel Kereta Armature (yang berfungsi sebagai saklar) untuk menghasilkan listrik 220V 2A.

Ada juga relai yang berfungsi untuk melindungi motor atau komponen lain dari kelebihan tegangan atau korsleting (pendek).
