The Apple TV Droid is only for Jailbroken Apple TV from 2G up, and with the app called AirControl for Apple TV.

If your second generation on high Apple TV is not Jailbroken, this app must not work.
If your Jailbreak if up to version 4.4.4 or high, follow those step below and this app will work as well as the normal Apple Remote:
Download the AIRCONTROL from your Jailbroken Apple TV from the Maintance menu. If you do not have this, download and install the aTV Flash Black Version 1.7 or high.
Then, go to Settings, and look for your Apple TV IP address, then, configure it on the Phone and start using the App !
