Salaf itself means the previous generation, the generation of the Companions, tabi'in and tabiut tabi'in unquestioned quality and their Islamic faith. so the Salaf scholars fatwa fatwa ulama2 mutakhirin here means that in berfatwa rely on the Qu'ran and the Sunnah based on understanding the generation of Companions, Tabi'in and tabiut tabi'in.
