La descripción de Safe Gaadi

Safe Gaadi is a new avenue of the ‘Barabari ki Dagar, Surakshit Safar’ program to stay connected with the commercial vehicle drivers, who have taken the gender sensitisation training under the program. It is a platform for the drivers to develop a deeper understanding of gender equality.The app’s features will motivate the drivers to adopt practices that respect women and thus contribute to the creation of safe and equal public spaces for women in Delhi NCR. Safe Gaadi also aims to encourage the drivers to translate what they have learnt about gender equality into their family and community.
The app includes curriculum, multimedia content and other interactive features to make the learning process interesting for the drivers. There is a point system where the drivers accumulate points based on their use of the app and the drivers will be rewarded on a regular basis based on the points collected by them.
‘Barabari ki Dagar, Surakshit Safar’ is a program to create equal and safe public transport for women. The program is implemented in Delhi and NCR by Manas Foundation in partnership with Transport Department, Government of Delhi and NCR and is being supported by Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) under its flagship CSR initiative.
