Cribbage Classic has a number of settings that can help you to learn the best move for your situation and offer assistance if it notices that you are making a sub-optimal play. Or just play in fast mode where all counting is done for you and you get to simply focus on discarding and pegging. By tweaking the settings you can take this app anywhere from a lazy-thoughtless-time-waster game to a skill-sharpening-master-tutorial helping you to crush your next opponent. Statistics are also kept so you can see your average pegging score, your average hand score, and your average crib score! Also shows you a summary of all of the sub-optimal plays you made at the end of the game and tracks your error rate over time so you can see yourself improving.
Cribbage Classic also has a "Discard Analyzer" bonus feature that can help you decide on the optimal discard to play given a particular cribbage hand. Analyzer shows you the minimum, maximum, and average score for each permutation along with an in-depth statistical analysis of all possible flip card results.

At first I liked the game but the more I play the less I like it. When playing against a "pro" it feels like the games are rigged. As if there is elss hasard and he's just awarded with better cards. I can understand the choices being without any mistakes but when the pro makes 12, 16, 24 pts every play that's not random and this makes the game not worth. There smother better options out there

The developer doesn't know the game, you should have random card dealing, as standard no one gets a hand that's mostly face cards and as pro no one gets those hands all the time. Deal the cards honest, what makes you a novice or pro is knowing how to play the cards you have been delt, what to throw into the crud and the possible turn card might be. I've played for about 50ty years and your game is good as easy, standard starts favoring the app, pro it's mostly app, it'd be a start.

I like the professional level, it is a challenge.The whole board is nicely laid out. However there are too many ads between every hand. Very annoying. Thinking about uninstalling. Ads do no good, refuse to purchase anything advertised this way!

I am playing the pro level. the computer had the last 3 cards to play during the count a 6, 7, and 8. The computer played 6 then 7 for 13 and finally 8 for 21 and pegged one point. If computer would have played 8, then 7 for fifteen = two points and then 6 for final point total of 3 pegged points. It would be nice to know I'm playing pro level and the computer is making the best possible move?

Love this version! To me, more realistic than Cribbage Pro. Skunk the bot on Cribbage Pro and you will get double skunked the following game, guaranteed! Only downside to Cribbage Classic -- the bot often leads a "5." No opponent I've ever played, in person, does that.

User interface is good. The cut cards are rigged and I quickly tire of playing against cheaters. The AI is terrible at pegging (which I guess is why they have to cheat). On Pro I win about 80% despite the rigged cut cards, but this game will not teach you to be a better cribbage player, just how to counteract their cheating methods better.
