Come together – against the Catcher Car – for a good cause.
Get ready to join tens of thousands of people worldwide on May 9, 2021. Together you will run, or roll, to find a cure for spinal cord injury, all at the same time!
In the Wings for Life World Run, all participants start simultaneously around the globe. There’s no traditional finish line – instead a Catcher Car pursues you! You run, or roll in a wheelchair, as far as you can until you’re caught. With the Wings for Life World Run App, you can participate anywhere in the world, individually or side by side with others. 100% of your entry fee goes directly to the nonprofit Wings for Life foundation to help fund spinal cord research.
Once you have finished the run, your name will be on the Global Result List.

Failed during the run, captured 1.5km instead of 19, despite correct settings. Edit: It has been swiftly corrected post run by the app team. Thank you!

GPS accuracy is way too bad. You should do something about it, because it looks phone is capable of tracking position better than the app? In the end distance was off for more than 2km :/

I love the idea and the cause and was really pumped for my run. Let's just say, I was disappointed. First, I wasn't able to press start. It took 20 min of me trying everything, including restarting my phone, for it to finally work. I future, just give people their 30 min headstart once they press start. But only having a 10 min headstart wasn't the end of it, the app crashed after me running only 2.4 km and didn't document the rest of my run. I had a nice run, it just wasn't for wings for life.

Poor programming and didn't work with Samsung A3. GPS 100% inaccurate, bluetooth does not work when app is running, finally crashed and stopped the tracking.

Very very very bad app. I run 16,5 km (garmin+samsung health app) and in the same time Wings for life calculated 14,5 km..i guess it is hard to properly connect gps with the app 🤦🏼‍♂️ never again will I'll be running with this app
