Nata nel 2009 per proseguire i fasti della pallavolo di Castellana Grotte in pochi anni disputa nel 2016/17 la sua terza stagione in A2, campionato che in passato l'ha già vista protagonista anche della vittoria di Coppa Italia. Competenza, onestà e passione le 3 parole chiave. Nel 2013 decide dolorosamente di rinunciare alla massima serie ripartendo dalla serie B. Con programmazione oculata e tre promozioni in fila torna in Superlega nel 2017 al termina di un campionato di A2 entusiasmante. Quella del 2018/19 sarà la quarta partecipazione al massimo campionato di volley.
