This application is developed by young Urdu Poet Soaz Sahib in order to calculate the numeric value(Aadaad-اعداد) of a phrase or sentence of Urdu language or a rhythmic line from Urdu poetry with the help of numerology (a.k.a. ILM-Al-ABJAD)
ILM-AL-ABJAD was discovered by ancient human beings. With the help of this technique, learned individuals used to create a phrase, sentence or rhythmic line
keeping in view the year of an specific event.
For e.g. Poets used to write a rhythmic line(misra) which upon decoding, provided the date of demise of a departed person. This was a way of paying tribute to a departed soul.
In Persian & Urdu this art is known as "Fann-e- Tareekh Goyee"
It is a difficult art and demands lots of practice.
Through this application we want to encourage young poets to pay attention towards this neglected art and work for its revival.
