Cinderella's mother dies. After time, her father remarries a woman with two daughters who have beautiful faces, but cold, cruel hearts. It is here that the bad times begin for the poor orphan.
The stepmother and stepsisters take away her dresses and order her to clean the house. Thus she becomes practically a servant. She is always covered with dust and ash, and because of this she is called Cinderella.
