Biscom Mobile Fax for Android extends the functionality of Biscom's FAXCOM Suite, FAXCOM Anywhere Enterprise and FAXCOM Anywhere Office applications to enable users to send and receive faxes on their Android tablets and phones. This app is not a standalone application and will only function correctly if already have one of these fax products or services from Biscom.

To successfully use the Biscom Mobile Fax for Android app, the following must be in place:
- Login to FAXCOM Suite Version 10.1.0.5 or higher with Web services enabled.
- An on premises FAXCOM Server or the FAXCOM Anywhere cloud-based fax service
If you plan to take pictures of documents with your mobile device and fax them, you must have a high quality camera (a minimum of 5 megapixels), a clean lens, bright lighting, and a non-skewed camera angle or you may experience problems that some reviewers noted.
Faxing other types of photos is possible, but not recommended due to resolution limitations inherent in fax.
