Chroma key is an effect or a technique of mixing two images or frames together, in which a color from one image is removed (or made transparent), revealing another image behind it , enabling, for example, a weather forecaster to appear against a background of a computer-generated weather map. This technique is also referred to as color keying, color-separation overlay, greenscreen, pinkscreen and bluescreen.
