Locko, whose real name is Charles Arthur Locko Samba (born May 8, 1992 in Yaoundé), is a Cameroonian singer, songwriter and beatmaker of RnB and afropop1. He made himself known by publishing on the YouTube video sharing site, a large number of covers of popular songs. He is the first Cameroonian to launch a covers2 Youtube channel. At the time, he operated under the pseudonym Shawmey Locko.
