NightScreen makes your screen easier on the eyes, especially at night or before going to sleep, by allowing you to make your screen dimmer and/or warmer.
Studies have shown that exposure to both bright light and blue light before going to bed can impair sleep and delay sleep onset. By using NightScreen, you can reduce exposure to bright light and blue light and hopefully notice healthier sleep and shorten time to fall asleep in the evening.
NightScreen uses two different screen filters to allow you to customize your screen brightness. By using the black slider, you can make your screen dimmer/darker than you otherwise could using your device's screen brightness settings. Similarly, the red slider allows you to add a red filter to your screen, making the color temperature "warmer". Ideally, you would exposure yourself to warmer (i.e., "redder") light in the evenings, and avoid exposure to blue light.
