108 Emergency Service Madhya Pradesh
The government of Madhya Pradesh (MP) initiated to implement comprehensive medical emergency services in the state by introducing a fleet of ambulances across the state and provide medical emergency services free of cost. Services provided in medical emergency services are pre-hospital care in the ambulances and admitting the patients / victims to the nearest government facility within the shortest possible time while saving lives during 'The Golden hour'.
Currently the medical emergency services operate with 606 ambulances for 108 & 735 ambulances for Janani.
Considering the popularity of 108 medical emergency services, Government of Madhya Pradesh has launched Mobile application for the Citizens to ease for requesting 108 services & tracking ambulances
Steps on how to use the Application
1) Install 108 Madhya Pradesh Application
2) Ensure your device is GPS & GPRS enabled while using the Application
3) Complete the registration process
4) User can request an ambulance by clicking "Press Here" button below the 'In case of emergency press the below button'
5) On clicking the "Press Here" button, the application will ask for "Request Ambulance for whom"
6) If Ambulance needed for self then click "Self" or "other" for any person including your family members
7) After selecting the Ambulance needed for click "Call Ambulance"
8) Users current position along with registered info will be transmitted to 108 Emergency call center requesting an emergency
9) User will receive a call from 108 call center and on requirement will send the nearest ambulance
10) Once Ambulance is assigned user can see the assigned ambulance and can track the ambulance.
11) If GPS & GPRS is not working then the application will initiate call to 108
