THAKKAR FARM, a 65 acre Natural organic farm since 1992, situated on the bank of perennial river Page in Karjat, hardly 90 km. from Mumbai. Farm is totally organic and Fruits n Veggies, Grains n Pulses & many herbal medicinal plants are grown in natural - pollution free environment, No industry around in the radius of 35 Kms.
We have herd of 35 GIR cows & they graze in natural environment of farm. Fresh milk of Gir cows are brought to Vile-Parle, Mumbai every day from Karjat. Farming is done with manure made from Gobar & Gomutra of Gir cows. No Chemical manure – No Chemical pesticides used in farm since 1992.
Apart from Fruits n Veggies & Grains n Pulses from Karjat farm, we have many associate farmers who also grow Fruits n Veggies organically & in natural environment & provide us fresh Fruits n Veggies.
THE FARMER is a link to these small organic farmers & ultimate consumers. It is a small step to join nature lover conscious people together, a firm step towards better health, chemical free food, clean & beautiful nature.
