How does it work?
ADS-B transponders (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast radio transmitter-responders) are fitted to most aircrafts. These transponders transmit essential airplane and flight plan information such as: latitude, longitude, altidude and speed. A network of receivers give us access to this information which is the main source of data for Flightradar.
