There are (6) major areas within the Cal Tracker App. These are:
1. Food Search. This also includes Restaurant Menus.
2. Food Diary
3. Exercise Diary
4. Diet Calendar
5. Weight History.
6. Your Ideal Weight & how to get there.
Food Search:
Enter a food item in the search box. Next you will be presented a list of items that match what you entered. Select a item from the list.
The next screen will show results. First will be a nutrition panel showing the calories, carbohydrates & more. Common Serving Sizes will also be shown. Selecting any of this will present a new screen related to the size you choose.
The next area is "Add this item" Adding this item will add it to your Food Diary & Diet Calendar.
Once added "My Food Diary" screen will appear.
Food Diary:
Here you will see the dally total calories you have added per meal type. You may add additional food items here
Weight History:
Here is where you enter your current weight along with your goal weight with your height.
This information is used with the exercise Diary.
Exercise Diary:
On this screen you will see your total daily calories (Based on your height & current weight entered in the Weight History). The screen also shows calories burned for resting and sleeping.
Using the Add Exercise link you can add activities from the Exercise list. Whatever exercises you add will also be added to the total calories burned.
Diet Calendar:
Here is where you will find the total calories you have consumed in the day along with the total calories you have burned. from this a net calories is shown either as a plus or minus.
Here you are looking for a minus as you are burning more calories than you are eating.
A pound of fat is equal to about 3500 calories.
You may click on the numbers and will be taken back to the screen for making adjustments.

Your Ideal Weight:
Gives you a guide to what you should weigh and how many calories you are currently eating and what you should be eating to lose the weight. You also get the date when you will reach your weight goal.
