some apps just run in the background and it's difficult to determine their effect due to lack of empirical data that these notifications provide.
WiFi AirWaves can also be cancelled so that you don't have to uninstall it to stop it.
The background processing for WiFi AirWaves has been designed to have a minimal footprint on Android and to execute at the approximate time with a priority toward periods of quiescence that take precedence over the scheduled time, after which all resources are released until initiated per the schedule.
