It is the day Shiva declared his son Ganesha as superior to all the gods, barring Vishnu, Lakshmi, Shiva and Parvati.
Ganesh, also known as ganapati (ganpati), vinayaka, Pillaiyar,Vighneshvara and Binayak is most worshiped and best known god in hindu religion. People in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Bali, Bangladesh and Nepal worships lord ganesh.
Lord Shiva ji has many names like Bhole nath , Sankar Ji, Lord Shiva Ji , God Shiv, Mahakal , Shiv Shankar.
