El grupo de investigación AeroUEx proporciona información aerobiológica a la población a través de esta aplicación móvil, siendo una herramienta importante para la movilidad de las personas. De esta manera se ha desarrollado una nueva aplicación que incluye nuevas implementaciones relacionadas. La idea es la mejora de la salud de los ciudadanos en
escala temporal y espacial en el monitoreo aerobiológico en tiempo real.
El objetivo principal ha sido desarrollar una aplicación tecnológica que combina toda la información aerobiológica relacionada con el posible impacto en la salud de los ciudadanos de Extremadura de la red de Aerobiología (Badajoz, Cáceres, Don Benito, Plasencia y Zafra) en el suroeste de España. La página se carga de forma predeterminada en el componente "maptabs" y desde ella se pueden buscar fuentes de polen en función de diferentes variables: tipo de polen, radio de búsqueda y ubicación mediante el Sistema de navegación por satélite global (GNSS). Una vez que se hayan encontrado las fuentes de polen, será posible acceder a esta página y ver la ubicación de las fuentes en el mapa. Desde esta página puede buscar niveles de polen en las diferentes ubicaciones con captadores de la red de Aerobiología de Extremadura. Los valores de los diferentes tipos de polen obtenidos por el captador mostrarán con el código de color el nivel total del día y el nivel individual de cada tipo de polen (hay veinticuatro tipos diferentes de polen principales). La red de Aerobiología de Extremadura cuenta con cinco estaciones de muestreo. También tiene estaciones meteorológicas con tiempo real (ya que sus datos se actualizan en la base de datos cada 10 minutos) con presionar el botón naranja en cada pestaña. Para el pronóstico, se utilizan imágenes del modelo SILAM del Instituto Meteorológico de Finlandia que muestra diferentes mapas de calidad del aire, tanto gases como granos de pólenes.
SILAM ofrece una predicción de 5 días. Además, se agregaron a la aplicación imágenes de síntesis estándar de 10 días de NDVI 300m del satélite PROBA-V de Copernicus (Agencia Espacial Europea). Por otro lado, se presenta un pronóstico de viento para los siguientes siete días desde la aplicación web Windy, según el modelo ECMWF. Esta aplicación móvil está relacionada en las disciplinas urbanas como un componente en el
análisis de la calidad del aire, a fin de reducir el impacto potencial.
The AeroUEx research group provides aerobiological information to the population through this mobile application, being an important tool for the mobility of people. The main objective has been to develop a technological application that combines all the aerobiological information related to the possible impact on health of the citizens of Extremadura of the Aerobiology network (Badajoz, Cáceres, Don Benito, Plasencia and Zafra) in the southwest of Spain .
