This app calculates the bending stress, the safety factor and the deflection for beams. It also calculates the maximum shear stress and the angle of twist for shafts when a load is applied.This app is perfect for those engineers or any person that wants to know the structural integrity of beams and shafts. It is perfect for engineering students. The only information required is to know the dimensions for the predetermined cross-sections and the forces or torques depending of the case. It is very easy to use, basic knowledge in Mechanics of Materials is required. This app use the International Measurement System as well as the English System.
