Social Work is a science and an art.
The science of social work includes things like assessment tools and data analysis.
The art of social work involves the practitioner's skill in collecting and and organizing information about individuals and families, to then be fed into tools, predictive analytics, etc.
The Social Work Mentor is intended to provide a framework for social work practitioners and other professionals providing human services and/or social services, so that they can practice the art of their profession when collecting and organizing information about a person or family unit.
Although there is a wealth of information available to support various practice models and frameworks through theory, evidence, and anecdote, there is not much available to effectively connect those models with daily practice in a user friendly and tangible way.
