Sundanese people with a background in the kingdom which is located upstream, the kingdom Galuh for example, has its own influence to the art of gamelan, especially songs that are much colored river conditions, including songs Manintin, Galatik Manggut, Kintel Buluk, and the Bango. Habits bloom dishes always lacks the Sundanese community and develop jointly and severally gamelan gamelan to gamelan.
Degung is a collection of musical instruments played by the Sundanese people. There are two senses of the term gamelan:
- gamelan gamelan as the device name
- gamelan as part of the barrel barreled name salendro.
