Lock Phone Lite

A simple app to turn off your screen and lock your phone with a single tap, and prevent you from wearing out your lock key!
Select the application or widget from your application or widget drawer and put it on your home screen.
Tap the icon, and your screen will turn off and the phone will be locked (to whatever level of security you have chosen).

Notes
1) This app requires device administrator privilege to be able to lock the screen.
After installing and the first time you run the app, you will be prompted to activate the lock screen admin.
Please select "activate" (see screen shot).
2) There is a known problem with Android version 4.0 where the screen turns off and then on again if you have lock security set (e.g. PIN).
The lock screen will be displayed when the screen switches back on, although this problem does seem intermittent.
3) To un-install the app, please revoke the device administrator setting for this app in Settings>Security>Device Administrators, and de-selecting the check box, which will prompt you to deactivate the lock screen admin.
Please select "deactivate" (see screen shot) and then you will be able to un-install the app in the usual way.
