Beautiful Lombardia is an application that allows you to visit and learn about the Lombard cultural heritage: museums, collections and individual works of art, historic houses, castles, churches and other religious buildings, villages, squares and urban areas with particular relevance. Each cultural property is described and accompanied by pictures.
You can access descriptions and photographic apparatus in both geographical and textual mode.
In the first mode, the mapping of Lombardy you can zoom approaching an area and select cultural heritage according to their type.
The types of assets are identified by icons. Once you find a good interest, you can access the description for this place.
In text mode the goods are presented in list form and identified by a picture of small format, the name and the resort. Even in this mode, you can select assets based on the type. Once you find a good interest, you can access the description for this place.
The cultural heritage presented in Bella Lombardia is cataloged by SIRBeC - Regional Information System Cultural Heritage and published on regional portal Lombardia Cultural Heritage (www.lombardiabeniculturali.it).
The data presented in the app are obtained from the dataset "Cultural heritage Beautiful Lombardia" released under IODL 2.0 from Lombardy Region on OpenData portal (www.dati.lombardia.it).
