Harris J is an English singer and a graduate of London's BRIT School of Performing Arts.
Born in Chelsea in London, Harris J United Kingdom Muslim is a young artist with a heritage of India and Ireland from the United Kingdom, Jamaica and father of the mother, signed to Awakening Records.
At an early age, a natural talent Harris to sing clearly. At age five, she began singing and performing in public, at recital school and multi-faith meeting. Reading mastery of classical Arabic with tone and vocal techniques from the folk music of Ireland created a mixture of clear rich artistic talent.
Harris J is passionate about football. At age 12, Harris get himself a place in the exclusive Club of Elite Training at the Chelsea Academy, receive expert training for several years in the basic training of Chelsea FC, Premier League Side.
After entering the social media-powered Resurrection Talent Contest in the year 2013 – where the multi-platinum winning songwriter and artist Maher Zain is a judge-J Harris went on to win the competition and signed a recording contract exclusive with Awakening Records.
In July 2015 J Harris is a graduate of the world renowned BRIT School of Performing Arts in London (alumni include Adele, Amy Winehouse and others). Harris J has been featured in a charity tour in the United Kingdom and in the tribute concert Mandela in South Africa. World music trends have identified Harris as "the artists who'll take the global Islamic music by storm".
Harris J considers himself a Muslim, proud and true Brit and now looking forward to taking her new faith inspired mix of music to the world. Her debut album is scheduled to be released at the end of August 2015.
