An intuitive 3D perception of the stellar neighborhood, including more than 100,000 adjacent stars.
100,000 Stars is a Chrome Experiment that utilizations genuine information got from different star inventories to plot the position of 119,617 adjacent stars. Clients may zoom from inside the nearby planetary group out to the Milky Way system. Eighty-seven stars are interactive, giving point by point data about each star, and a mechanized visit gives a guided outline of the whole representation. The website utilizes a few progressed HTML5 highlights that feature the capacities of the Google Chrome program, including WebGL, CSS3D, and Web Audio.
