The olive cultivation dates back to ancient times: folk tales and religious texts are transmitted for over six thousand years, but it is thanks to many archaeological finds today we can confirm millennium love between man and this unique plant. Universally recognized and scientifically, the beneficial effects of olive trees are really many and are proving valuable in many fields.
But why the olive is it so special?
Without treatment, pesticide, etc., olive lives for thousands of years and centuries old olive trees can even be uprooted, replanted and take root. There is no other plant like this.
The reason?
The olive is rich in a particular substance, oleuropein (oleuropein), a bitter glucoside whose leaf is particularly rich. The hydrolysis of oleuropein generates very important molecules for our health: elenolic acid (Elenolic Acid), hydroxytyrosol (Hydroxytyrosol), tyrosol (Tyrosol) and rutin (Rutin).
After years of experience, we have selected certified original olive leaves, totally natural and without chemical additives, from secular plants of a particular "cultivar" rich in oleuropein.
