Online payment gateway PayPal App now lets US users send and ask for money via Facebook Messenger.
PayPal may be the leader in peer-to-peer (P2P) payments with $24 billion in P2P volume throughout the third quarter of 2017 alone (up 47 percent year-over-year).

This past year, PayPal partnered with Facebook Messenger, allowing greater than 2.5 million US people to connect their accounts, use PayPal to look on Messenger and let Messenger as a way of communication for PayPal users.
When creating a note in Messenger with one individual, or perhaps a group, people can tap around the blue plus icon, after which choose the eco-friendly payments button to rapidly send or request money.
People may then choose PayPal his or her funding source when creating a P2P payment using their Messenger contacts.
