TourBot is a virtual guide / tourist assistant. The goal of the application is to help the tourist in an unknown location. TourBot in the communication with the tourist finds interesting places nearby and displays basic information about them. Get directions to them via Google Maps. The current app supports finding nearby locations. Upgrades are planned for two more functionalities. Finding events and recognizing recorded photos, as well as fetching basic and interesting historical information about the sights of photography. This is a demo version of the app. The entire version will enable user authentication.
