The "Little Steps" Application has been developed by a licensed OT to collaborate and share occupational therapy interventions to address developmental delay in the areas of fine motor, gross motor, feeding, sensory integration, visual motor, behavior, language development and social skills for children ages birth to three.
This useful tool (Little Steps) is a great way to encourage families to utilize what they may already have on hand in their natural environment to promote incorporating therapy into their child’s daily routine. Children will benefit by enjoying the therapeutic process when it is introduced through exploration and play.
Occupational therapists are encouraged to utilize "Little Steps" to share interventions as well as organize and keep data such as contact information, assessments, scheduling, goals, session highlights and weekly progress monitoring in a password protected area.
