Mercedes-Benz Link enables vehicle-optimised smartphone apps to be used on the display of the multimedia system in Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Separate hardware by the name of "Mercedes-Benz Link" is additionally required. This is connected with the vehicle via the corresponding USB port. After downloading the "Mercedes-Benz Link" app, the smartphone is connected via WLAN and Bluetooth with a separate hardware item. As soon as the connection has been established, selected smartphone apps can be called up and used directly via the vehicle's multimedia system.
